About Us
Plusworld.co.uk is a users
community, pure and simple.
It was formed due to the lack of
consistent feedback from Sky to its customers over Sky+. The site was created
because like you we wish to make Sky+ the best it can be, by voicing our
concerns and acting on them.
This
is the unofficial users site for the Sky+ community. We are dedicated to
getting the best from the Sky+ system, and our mission is to bring users
together to inform, discuss and resolve issues that affect us all.
The
reason for this web site:
British Sky Broadcasting (BSkyB) does not have an
internet customer portal specifically for Sky+
customers (though
this is improving) |
BSkyB fail to keep Sky+ users fully up to date with news on bugs,
enhancements and updates |
Other Personal Video Recorders have their own websites, Sky+
has not ... until now |
Make Sky accountable for the £10 we pay each month -
you'll be seeing campaigns, letter writing and user
groups |
We want to work in conjunction with the key players: BSkyB, the Web
Community, the Broadcasters, Retailers, and most importantly Sky+ owners
and potential puchasers of Sky+ to make Sky+ the best system it can
be |
Our aim
is just not to "kick-off" at Sky, but form constructive arguments that
will encourage debate between ourselves and Sky (and other parties) to resolve
users issues and concerns.
